Monday, May 6 is our field trip to the Arizona Historical Society and a walking tour of the University of Arizona. Thanks to our drivers for spending their day with us. Only four students ordered a sack lunch from the cafeteria so 27 students should bring their own lunch from home. I have encouraged the students to wear comfortable walking shoes to make the trek across the U. of A. campus more enjoyable. The plan is to leave school about 8:45 and return around 2:20. I hope this will be our best field trip of the year!
Tuesday at 6:00 is the Soleng Tom Family BBQ and the 4th grade boom whacker concert starts at 6:15. The students are asked to report to Mrs. Vuturo's room at 6:00 to get organized. The performance will last about 20 - 25 minutes to make sure you have time to enjoy the other activities offered.
The non fiction book reports have been terrific! We have been very impressed with the many different reports produced and we still have about ten students that will present this week.
Friday the students took the graphs showing change over time unit test. Tuesday the students will see their results. Then we will go back to unit 7, 3 D geometry and review of fractions and decimals.
