Welcome to Soleng Tom, fourth grade and Mrs. Figueroa's class! I hope we have an absolutely wonderful year!
Our first opportunity to meet will be at Pop In on Tuesday, August 2nd from 4:30 until 6:00. I look forward to meeting my All Stars and their parents. I will distribute information, offer conference sign ups and hand out the Dragon Folders. Our blog will also be projected for you to see. You may bring in school supplies on Tuesday or wait until Thursday if you prefer - either time is fine with me.
Our first day of class will be on Thursday, August 4. The first couple of days will be invested in getting to know each other, setting up routines and expectations, and starting the curriculum. There will not be homework this week, that will start next week. By Friday afternoon we should know each other far better!
Let's plan on working together this year and helping your son or daughter have many learning opportunities.
